Terms of Service & Client Policies

These policies provide clear expectations regarding services, scheduling, pricing, remote online notarization procedures, document handling practices, and client responsibilities.

General Service Terms

Aligned Print & Scan is a Texas commissioned notary service provider offering Remote Online Notary, Mobile Notary, and Document Services including printing, copies, scanning, and courier delivery. We are not attorneys and do not provide legal advice, legal representation, or legal document drafting.

Clients are responsible for reviewing documents before signing, understanding the contents of documents, obtaining legal guidance when necessary, and ensuring documents are complete before notarization.

Identification Requirements

Valid government-issued photo identification is required for all notarizations. For Remote Online Notary sessions, identity verification and credential analysis may also be required through the RON platform provider.

Quotes, Expiration & Requested Times

Quotes remain valid for 48 hours unless otherwise noted. If a quote expires, the secure payment option may be disabled and a revised request or refreshed quote may be required.

Requested appointment dates and times are preferences only. Same-day and next-day requests are subject to availability and are not confirmed until Aligned Print & Scan issues an Appointment Confirmation.

Remote Online Notary Services

RON services are conducted through secure audio-video technology platforms approved for Texas online notarization requirements. Sessions may be recorded as required by Texas law. Identity verification, credential analysis, and knowledge-based authentication may be required.

RON appointments are paid in full before the session. One complimentary reschedule may be permitted when requested before the appointment time. Missed RON appointments or signer technology/readiness issues may be handled as a reschedule or service credit at Aligned Print & Scan's discretion.

Mobile Notary Appointments

Mobile appointments are available by scheduled appointment only. The Mobile Appointment Base covers travel, scheduling, route commitment, and availability within the stated local service area and is separate from notarial acts and optional add-ons.

Mobile travel/appointment fees are earned once Aligned Print & Scan dispatches to the appointment. If a customer cancels after dispatch or is unavailable at the appointment location, the travel/appointment portion may be retained. Unused notarial acts or additional services may be refunded or credited at Aligned Print & Scan's discretion.

Document Services

Document Services include printing, copies, scanning, and courier delivery. Courier delivery starts at $20 and may be added to mobile notary or document service orders when documents must be transported, delivered, picked up, or dropped off.

Printing and copy charges are generally based on page count, color type, paper size, and paper type. Scanning is generally priced per page plus the applicable mobile document service or courier component when travel is required.

Approved print/copy production begins after payment or quote approval as applicable. Printed materials and prepared copies may become non-refundable once production has begun unless an error occurred in production by Aligned Print & Scan.

Payments, Deposits & Additional Invoices

Payment may be required at booking, before service, before dispatch, or upon completion depending on service type. When an order requires dispatch, printing, or preparation before the final appointment balance is known, an initial invoice may cover dispatch, travel, courier, printing, or production fees. A second invoice may be issued for final appointment balance, additional notarizations, added copies, scanning, courier additions, witnesses, or custom approved line items.

Paid invoices should not be edited after payment. Any additional balance may be issued as a separate invoice tied to the same order.

Right To Refuse Service

Aligned Print & Scan reserves the right to refuse service for suspected fraud, incomplete documentation, unsafe conditions, abusive behavior, inability to verify identity, violations of Texas law, or requests outside permitted notarial authority.

Document Acceptance

Final acceptance of documents is determined solely by courts, lenders, government agencies, embassies, title companies, receiving organizations, and other third parties.

Updates To Policies

These policies may be updated periodically to reflect changes in law, operational updates, platform requirements, pricing changes, or service modifications.
